What It Looks Like
Welcome to church! When you arrive, you will be welcomed by our friendly team who will assist you towards our Favor Kids Check-in area. In order to care for you and your family, we will ask you some basic information about your family and your children — from name and contact number to things like allergies we need to know or any additional needs. We’d love to assist you with any questions and concerns you may have!

HEY, PARENTS & GUARDIANS
Thank you so much for trusting us with your kids in their journey of knowing Jesus. It really is a privilege to invest in the lives of the next generation and we want to help support you as the primary discipler of your kids.
It says in Deuteronomy to know God’s Word, meditate on it, and move into action. It speaks on how parents should teach God’s Word to the children throughout the day, every day, taking every opportunity there is. And we understand that can sound like a lot having to balance with your work, household chores, helping your kids with school work, and so much more going on in life. You might be thinking, “Where do I even start?”. Don’t worry, we’ve got you! With our curriculum in Favor Kids, we’re intentionally making space for more involvement of the parents so we can work together in helping our kids grow up to love God and his Word.
We’ve set up a Parents Portal where you can access weekly video lessons, Bible verses, coloring sheets, journal prompts, and other activities that you can do with your kids at home. Materials will be uploaded every Saturday night so you can pick up on what we talked about in kids church that Sunday and our kids can spend more time learning the different Bible stories throughout the week. We really encourage that you do this together with your kids! Our kids learn by observing and when they see their parents value studying the Word of God, they will more likely make it important in their life as well.

We are more than just day care center—we care for and disciple our Favor Kids to grow up as leaders who love God, love people, and love life. These teams run the weekly program of Favor Kids. You’ll help the kids stay engaged in the teachings and participate in games and activities, as well as facilitate small group activities.
Transform creative ideas into something tangible through graphics, copywriting, documentation, social media, design, and film. Beginners who are hungry to learn and grow are very much welcome too!

Behind every piece of data is a person with a story! This team manages check-in, volunteer sign-ups, rostering, and our database, making sure that each person is cared for.
This team is all about fostering positive relationships with parents and families. Be involved by making new families feel welcome, creating a space for parents to find community.
Our behind-the-scenes heroes that oversee inventory and resource management to set up and pack down, this team makes sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Our Onsite Experience Team is focused on creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for kids and families from the foyer to the rooms. We strive to make every aspect of families’ experience memorable and meaningful.
Our Host & Safety Team are dedicated to creating a welcoming and secure environment for our young believers to grow in their faith. If you have a heart for hospitality and want to help keep our kids safe, we’d love for you to join our team!
We regard the safety of children as our highest priority. Our volunteers must be actively attending Connect for at least 2 months, endorsed by their Connect Leader, undergo an interview with one of the Favor Kids Team Leaders, and have submitted their updated NBI or Police Clearance. The references of each interested volunteer are checked to ensure that they are suitable to serve among the children. We also make sure that no unauthorized person comes to the Kids Church area and that none of the kids leave the room unless when they have to go to the bathroom. We also have our Safety Officers monitoring the kids leaving for the bathroom and which volunteer accompanies them.
The team will first text you then will reach out to you via phone call. If in any case parents are not able to attend to their phones, the child’s safety code will be flashed on the LED screen in the main service. Should any of these fail, someone from the team will look for the parents in the main service.
