Who can join Serve Sunday?

This is open to anyone attending Favor Church! For those below 18 who will be serving without their parent or legal guardian accompanying them, we’ll be requesting you to fill out this waiver. Please show the confirmation email upon registration at the location.

Yes, please have them sign up here and choose the option that it’s their first time attending Favor Church.

Upon signing up, we’ll send you a confirmation email with details and a link to the group chat for your location. Please make sure to check your email, including your spam folder, in case you don’t receive it.

None, this is free for anyone to join!

We’ll have activities in the morning and in the afternoon depending on the location, but you are more than welcome to join both time slots at different locations! Make sure to sign up at the correct time slot for each location.

No, the last day to recommend an organization is February 9, 2025, as we want to honor the organization’s requirements and values so we can assist them effectively. This also allows the team time for coordination.

You’re free to set up your own activity but take note it will not be officially part of Favor Church’s Serve Sunday.

Yes! We have locations that focus on engagement, conversation, and creative activities rather than physical work. Feel free to check the sign-up options to find what best suits you.

Each location will have a description of the type of service being done. We recommend choosing a place where you feel comfortable and where your skills or experience may be most helpful.

Wear comfortable and light clothes that will make it easy for you to move around. Each location will wear a specific colored t-shirt for Serve Sunday! Specific details will be shared in your location group chats.

Pack light, but be mindful of the valuable items you bring. We will do our best to maintain a safe environment in every location, but Favor Church will not be liable for losses and damages to personal items you choose to bring and use. Don’t forget your tumbler, some pocket money, and snacks if you’d like!

No, there will be no transportation available. We recommend choosing to serve in a location that is easily accessible to you!

We won’t be allowing transfers due to the limited capacity of each venue. Please make sure you’re confirmed to show up before registering for a location.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make it, as we are allocating volunteers based on need. Last-minute cancellations may affect the teams at each location.

We’ll be there to serve others! So no, there will be no food and drinks provided. We encourage you to bring your own baon or connect with our Favor community over lunch/dinner after the activity!

This will depend on the location and activity you’re joining — we are allocating people based on need!

We appreciate your enthusiasm! Unfortunately, we’re not able to allow pets at this event. We hope you understand, and we look forward to seeing you there!

We have specific locations that are family-friendly. We recommend you sign up for those! Don’t forget to indicate that you’re signing up as a family on the registration form.

We have specific locations that are PWD-friendly or have FSL interpreters. We recommend you sign up for those!

If you won’t be accompanied by your parent or legal guardian during the activities, you will need them to fill out this waiver. Take a screenshot of the confirmation email of the waiver and bring it with you on March 9 for registration. We reserve the right not to allow minors to join the activities if a waiver signed by their parents/legal guardian is not presented upon check-in.

Each location will have a designated point person to handle basic first-aid concerns. However, we encourage volunteers to bring their own personal medication if needed. In case of emergencies, we will coordinate with local medical responders.

Most activities will continue rain or shine! However, in cases of extreme weather conditions, we will coordinate with volunteers via group chats and email regarding any changes. Make sure to join the group chat linked in your confirmation email for important updates.

Yes! We’ll be sending information in your group chats, and we’ll also have our ALL-IN Huddle on March 8 at 7PM via Zoom for important reminders and to ensure everyone is aligned. All locations will have a team huddle on the day, while some select locations will have a quick training with the org/community representatives.
