Leadership is about influencing people—but it doesn’t always come with a job title. The kind of leadership that makes an impact reflects the values of God’s kingdom. At Favor Church, our heart is to develop and raise up leaders that love God and are passionate about making him famous. But we also want to grow leaders with strong convictions who can make wise decisions—and this happens when we have an understanding of why we do what we do. Our two-day Leadership DNA online course covers what we believe theologically as a church, the lifestyle convictions that we need to have as leaders, and what it looks like to grow as a leader at Favor Church. It also covers topics such as:

how to take responsibility of one’s own growth
how to communicate well
how to raise a leader

*This course is open to everyone but it is required for all those who are currently leading or who would like to step into a leadership role at Favor Church in the future.

What topics are covered in this course?

We will be covering a wide range of topics such as our church’s core beliefs when it comes to the Bible, theology, pop-culture, and social dynamics, as well as setting expectations for what a Favor Church leader looks like.

Do I need to be a member of Favor Church to attend?

No, this is open to everyone, but the class specifically teaches you about the culture of Favor Church.

How is this different from a Bible study or Connect Group?

Leadership DNA is a larger course we encourage everyone who calls Favor their home to attend. Although we talk about God and leadership, this is specifically catered for our church’s context. Our potential leaders are required to complete all sessions to align with the heart and culture of our church before stepping into a leadership position.

What if I miss a class?

Attendance for Sessions 1 and 2 are a requirement before proceeding to Sessions 3 and 4. Should you be unable to attend the first two sessions, we suggest that you wait until the next batch. Completion of all sessions is a requirement to graduate from this course.

Is it onsite or online?

This Grow course will be happening ONLINE on Zoom for two consecutive evenings. It would be best to prepare your schedule ahead of time since attending all sessions in consecutive order is required. Leadership DNA will run on a regular basis, so there will always be a next batch for you to join!
