What is a Connect Group?

Connect Groups are small groups of 3-12 people from our church who gather every 2 weeks. We talk about life, learn more about our faith, grow closer to God, pray for each other, and have fun together! Our heart for our Connects is that you would have a close family within our growing church to do life and grow with. We have groups available for all age groups and seasons of life, meeting all across Metro Manila, in some parts of the Philippines, and even globally.

What's a Connect Session Like?

When we gather, we keep it light and casual, full of fun and laughter. It’s not perfect, just like any family, but it’s a safe space where you can be honest and authentic as you learn more about God.

We always start Connect by sharing praise reports and celebrating what God is doing in our personal lives. Then, we watch a short video, before discussing the video and how it applies to our lives. At the end, we have a chance to pray for each other.

You don’t need to be a certain type of person or have it all figured out to fit in – just come! We’d love to meet you, get to know you, and help you find family!

What happens during a Connect Group meeting?

What is Connect Week?

You’ll hear us refer to ‘Connect Week’ in services or around our church. All our Connect Groups meet every other week – this week is ‘Connect Week’. It’s something we all look forward to and get excited about!

What is Social Connect?

It’s a special Connect Week that happens every once in a while, where we take a break from the usual format and change it up. We do fun activities, play games, get to know each other better, and have a whole lot of fun!

Are there different kinds of Connect Groups?

Yes! We have Connects for teenagers, college students, young professionals, married couples, adults, and even seniors (we call them our ‘seasoned’ community). We’re intentional about placing you in a group with people who are at a similar life stage to you – so that you can do life together!

If I don’t like my group and want to try another one, can I do that?

We understand that not every Connect is a perfect fit. If you try a Connect and don’t like it, that’s okay! Just let us know by talking to your leader and we’ll help you find the group that’s right for you.

What happens if I can’t make it to a Connect meeting?

That’s okay! If you can’t make it, just join us next time!

I have a friend who wants to join—are they welcome?

If they’re not yet involved in another local church and are looking for community, we’d love to welcome them! Just let your Connect Leader know, so that they can welcome your friend!
