  • The easiest way to get around in Manila is through the Grab app, southeast Asia’s version of Uber. Download the app before you travel! You can easily and securely link your credit/debit card, or pay with cash for each ride.
  • Walking is another great option! Manila is HOT, but you can walk fairly quickly between the conference venue and local hotels, shopping centres, and restaurants.
  • The Philippine currency is Philippine Pesos (PHP). The exchange rate hovers between 38-40PHP for $1.
  • Plan to carry some cash with you in the Philippines! The vast majority of establishments accept card payments, but some don’t — so it’s a good idea to carry some cash.
  • Check the fees with your bank for foreign transactions on your credit/debit cards. Some banks have cheap (or occasionally free) transaction fees, but some charge high fees! Check with your bank, and plan accordingly.
  • If you plan to exchange cash, expect better cash exchange rates in Manila than in Australia. Alternatively, there are plenty of ATMs to withdraw cash from — just remember to check fees.
  • Tipping after a sit-down meal is common and encouraged, but not required! Generally, people tip anywhere from 5-20% of the total meal cost.
  • Manila has a huge variety of food and drinks available, including some familiar brands (Maccas is called McDo instead) and some more traditional Filipino foods. Generally, food and drink is very safe in the Philippines — just exercise caution and wisdom!
  • Prices are generally on par with or slightly cheaper than Australian meal costs.
  • All travellers on Australian passports receive a free, automatic 28-day visa to the Philippines. If you are travelling on another passport, please check the specific arrangements between your nation and the Philippines.
  • There are currently no COVID vaccination requirements to enter the Philippines.
  • All travellers must fill out the “E-Travel” pass. You can do that via the website here, or by downloading the E-Gov PH app, creating an account, and following the prompts.

When is the conference happening?
  • Tickets are non-refundable but transferable until June 2. Should you wish to access the online stream for the conference, please purchase an Online Access ticket.

  • Yes! You can purchase tickets for others by providing their names and contact details while registering. Tickets will be sent to the primary email address provided.
  • If you would like to donate in cash or kind for the conference, email us at sponsorships@favor.church. Specifically for sponsoring tickets, you are acknowledging that they will be allocated to any individual in need. If you prefer to purchase a ticket for a specific person, please provide their details during regular ticket registration. Tickets will be sent to the primary email address provided, and you can forward them to each person you bought tickets for.
  • We don’t want finances to be the reason why you can’t attend! You can request for financial assistance through this form. The deadline for requests is on June 26 to give our team enough time to process them.

  • Yes, but ticket price remains the same.
  • Registrations are final and cannot be refunded, but they are fully transferable. Transfers are allowed until June 2. Email favorconreg@favor.church with details.
  • Registration will remain open until sold out due to venue capacity limitations.
  • Bring an open heart, bible, something for notetaking, and pocket money for meals.
  • Casual attire is suitable. Bring a light jacket, and wear your conference wristband at all times.
  • Favor Kids (ages 1-12) will have a program happening simultaneously with the conference right beside our venue at the Rizal Ballroom of Valle Verde Country Club, Pasig.
  • Yes. Food and drinks are allowed at our venue. We recommend packing light snacks for the day. Please also help us maintain cleanliness!
  • Parking is available a few minutes walk away from the conference at Estancia Mall at Capitol Commons. We recommend coming early so that you have enough time to find a parking spot.

    Daily rates: ₱50 first four hours, ₱20 every succeeding hour.
